Welcome to AstroChiropractic! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online services, and the chiropractic treatments provided by us. By accessing our website or booking an appointment with us, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.
Please note that these Terms may be updated periodically, and any changes will be posted here. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Our Services
At AstroChiropractic, we specialise in providing chiropractic care aimed at restoring spinal health, relieving pain, and promoting long-term wellness. Our services include:
- Spinal Manipulations/Adjustments: To restore spinal alignment and improve mobility.
- Soft Tissue Therapy: Including myofascial release and trigger point therapy to alleviate muscular tension.

These services are designed to address both immediate health concerns and long-term goals. We also collaborate with other healthcare providers when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
3. Booking and Use of Website
By using our online booking system, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information when booking an appointment.
- Appointment Confirmation: When you book an appointment through our website, you will receive an email confirmation. Please check your confirmation details to ensure accuracy.
- Updates and Reminders: We will send appointment reminders and updates via email or SMS. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
4. ACC Claims
We accept ACC claims for eligible patients. To use ACC for treatment, the following conditions must be met:
- The injury must be acute and present at the time of treatment.
- The ACC claim must be less than one year old from the date of your visit.
- You must provide your ACC claim number when booking.
If your claim is not accepted by ACC, you will be responsible for the full cost of treatment.
5. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
- 24-Hour Notice: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes.
- Late Cancellation Fee: $35 for cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice.
- No-Show Fee: $35 for missed appointments without prior notice.
6. Pricing, Packages, and Payment
- Private Rates: Pricing for treatments is clearly outlined on our website.
- Care Packages: Packages must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Missed package appointments without proper notice will count as one session.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, EFTPOS, credit cards, and bank transfers.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal and health data is handled in compliance with New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020. We will never share your information with third parties without your consent unless required by law.
8. Health and Safety
By booking an appointment, you confirm:
- You have provided accurate health information.
- You have disclosed any conditions or medications that may affect treatment.
If you experience a medical emergency, contact 111 immediately. Chiropractic care is not a substitute for emergency medical attention.
9. Gift Vouchers and Promotions
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months unless otherwise stated.
- Promotions, including seasonal specials, are valid only during the specified timeframe and cannot be combined with other offers.
10. Insurance Coverage
If you are covered by Southern Cross Health Insurance or another private insurer, we can assist you in processing your claim. Please verify your coverage in advance or speak with us for assistance.
11. Force Majeure
AstroChiropractic is not responsible for failure to fulfil obligations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances.
12. Limitation of Liability
We strive to provide high-quality care but cannot guarantee specific results. Chiropractic care involves risks, and AstroChiropractic is not liable for injuries or complications except where required by law.

14. Governing Law
